Eating at someone's you don't know yet.
Trust is not something you announce. Here is exactly what we check, what we require of cooks, and what stays your responsibility.
Verified identity
Every cook provides an ID document and an address. Without that check, no dish can be published.
Allergens required
The fourteen regulated allergens are declared dish by dish. A listing without them does not go live.
Protected payment
Payments are handled by a licensed provider, held until the handover, and refunded if the order does not happen.
Reviews after real meals
Only someone who collected an order can leave a review. Reviews cannot be bought or deleted by the cook.
What we require of cooks
- Cook on the day of handover, unless the dish is explicitly sold as keepable.
- Keep the cold chain before, during and after preparation.
- Use clean, sealed containers, labelled with the date and time of preparation.
- Declare the activity to the food safety authority from the first regular sale.
- Report any incident — a break in the cold chain, a doubt about an ingredient — and cancel rather than hand the dish over.
What we cannot guarantee
Ucci is not a professional kitchen under constant inspection. A home kitchen cannot guarantee the complete absence of allergen traces. With a severe allergy, talk to the cook before ordering, and abstain if any doubt remains.
Reporting a problem
From the order, within 24 hours. We suspend the listing while we look into it, hear both sides, and refund when it is warranted. A serious or repeated breach means permanent removal.
Your data
Encrypted connections, no card details stored on our servers, and your precise address shared with the cook only once the order is confirmed. Details on the Privacy page.
