Press room
Ucci is a neighbourhood cooking app: people cook at home and sell their dishes to neighbours, collected on foot or dropped off a few streets away.
In three sentences
Ucci connects people who love cooking with people who love eating well, at the scale of a neighbourhood. Not restaurants, not ghost kitchens, not surplus: dishes cooked the same day, in small batches, by someone who lives minutes away.
Our bet is that proximity changes how we eat. When you know who cooked, you eat better, waste less, and end up speaking to people you only used to pass in the street.
Topics we are happy to discuss
- The legal framework for selling home-cooked food in France, and why it stays so poorly understood.
- The role of food in neighbourhood ties.
- Building a marketplace where trust is more than an average rating.
- Why we reject the anti-waste pitch: our cooks are not discounting leftovers, they are cooking.

Naming
The name is written Ucci — initial capital only, never "UCCI" or "ucci". The symbol is a two-legged "u": it must not be stretched, recoloured, or placed on a busy photo without a solid colour behind it.
